Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

Lion City Conferences adheres to the principles and guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All parties involved in the publication process — authors, reviewers, and editors — are expected to uphold high standards of academic integrity.

Duties of Authors

Authors must submit original work, accurately represent their research, disclose all funding sources and conflicts of interest, and ensure that all listed authors have made a substantive contribution and have approved the final manuscript. Data fabrication, falsification, and duplicate submission are strictly prohibited.

Duties of Reviewers

Reviewers must evaluate manuscripts objectively, disclose any conflicts of interest, maintain confidentiality of unpublished material, and alert editors to any suspected ethical concerns encountered during review.

Duties of Editors

Editors are responsible for fair and unbiased evaluation of submissions, protecting the confidentiality of the review process, and making publication decisions based solely on scholarly merit.

Plagiarism Screening

All submissions are screened using plagiarism-detection software prior to peer review. Manuscripts exhibiting substantial unattributed overlap with prior work are returned to authors or rejected.

Corrections and Retractions

Where errors are identified post-publication, the Editorial Office will issue a correction, or, in cases of serious ethical breach, a formal retraction, following COPE guidelines and in consultation with the corresponding author.
